Biography
Daniela Treitl, M.D., is an Endocrine Surgery fellow in the Department of Surgery. Dr. Treitl holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College, where she did her undergraduate work in Sociology and Photography. She also received her M.D. from New York University School of Medicine. She went on to complete General Surgery Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL. Dr. Treitl’s research interests include cancer genetics, innovative imaging adjuncts to surgery, and health disparities. She is passionate about increasing healthcare access and improving systems to streamline patient navigation from diagnosis to treatment.
