Dr. Andre R. Campbell, a Professor of Surgery at UCSF and Vice Chair for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within the Department of Surgery, continues to exemplify excellence in surgical education. He is known as one of the most decorated surgical educators in the institution, having served as an attending trauma surgeon at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital for over two decades, founded UCSF’s surgical critical care fellowship, and held the university’s Endowed Chair of Surgical Education for ten years across two terms.
